Safe Haven - Doors are staying open

Wollongong Safe Haven is a purpose designed, safe space, for anyone to go to when they are having suicidal thoughts. Have a look inside the with the Director of Mental Health, Julie Carter and the Stride Service Leader, Mark Ellis.

Under COVID stay at home orders, people may leave their house for a reasonable excuse, such as accessing health care. Safe Haven Wollongong remains open, with COVID safe procedures in place.
