Forum guidelines and important information 
Please reflect on your personal experience with suicide and consider if now is the right time to be participating in the forum.
Consider those around you. The forum will discuss ways to have safe conversations around suicide. We ask participants to ensure they consider the people around them when talking about suicide and ensure they do so in a safe way.
Age of participants. We recommend 16 as the minimum age of participants for this forum. Participants under the age of 18 should ensure they have supports in place before participating in the forum.
Support during the forum. If you need support during the forum, there will be support people available for you to chat with. Those people will be pointed out to you at the beginning of the event.

- StandBy 24/7 support after suicide (1300 727 247)
- Suicide Call Back Service 24/7 telephone and online counselling (1300 659 467)
- Safe Haven Wollongong (55 Urunga Parade, Wollongong) Wednesday to Saturday 2pm to 10pm
- A GP
- Your trusted support person
Follow-up. Participants will receive a follow-up email within one week after the event. This email will include links to some useful resources.
Feedback. We value your feedback on your experience of this community forum. A link to the feedback survey will be provided within the presentation slides and in the follow-up email. If you prefer, you can reach out via suicideprevention@coordinare.org.au.
